Memorial Day
Several weeks ago I was supposed to meet with the photographer who took our family portraits for my parents 40th anniversary. He and his wife are good friends of my parents. The day I was to meet with him, he left me a voicemail while I was in class indicating they had had a death in the family and he would have to reschedule.
We just found out today that it was his wife who died. Mom considered Debbie her closest friend here in the Dallas area.
Mom was disappointed that she had never let Debbie know how much she meant to her.
Just serves as another reminder to not wait until it’s too late tell those you care about how you feel.
