<sigh> I should have expected this.

I recently had to rebuild Skywise, my laptop. I had to repartition and reformat the hard drive, reinstall the OS and all software. The laptop came with Norton Antivirus 2004. When the complimentary virus signature update period expired, I paid for an additional year through Symantec’s web site.
After re-building the system, I was able to download the “trial” version of NAV 2004, which comes with a 16 day trial period. I contacted Symantec customer support to have them send me my registration key so my “trial” download wouldn’t expire until my paid subscription runs out.

What did I get back from some guy in India?

No, you nimrod, I already “purchased an upgrade”. I just need my license key!
